Changes made through the versaSRS-SMC are not being applied

FAQ

Q: Application Settings changes made to versaSRS HelpDesk using the supplied 'System Management Console' (SMC) are not being reflected in the application - why?

A:
Once changes are made to the versaSRS HelpDesk Application Settings, a RELOAD of these Settings needs to be Forced back to the application to take affect.

To do this, follow these steps;

(1)    Log into versaSRS HelpDesk using the System Administrator account, or, log in as a System User who has Administrator Access.

(2)    Through the versaSRS HelpDesk Application, select the menu option ‘Administrator > System Tools > System Info’, scroll down this panel and then click the ‘Reload Global Settings’ button.

(3)    System Operators then need to either, Close and Re-Open their Application Sessions, or Refresh their current Session by pressing F5.

These steps need to be performed each time the Application Settings are changed through the SMC application.
